Ingredients

For the Cajun mix
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp white pepper
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp sweet paprika
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
For the chicken
  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 tortillas
  • 6 tbsp 3P Pitta Sauce
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • fresh coriander
3p-mayo

Preparation

Prepare the Cajun mix by combining the garlic powder, white pepper, onion powder, sweet paprika, oregano, thyme, cayenne pepper, and salt in a bowl. Mix well to ensure the ingredients are evenly combined.

Cut the chicken breasts into strips and place them in a bowl. Pour the Cajun spice mixture over the chicken, tossing well to coat each strip thoroughly. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 15 minutes, or preferably overnight, to enhance the flavors.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the olive oil is hot, add the marinated chicken strips to the pan. Cook for 6-8 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and nicely browned on all sides. Stir occasionally for even cooking.

While the chicken is cooking, heat the tortillas in another pan or in the oven, following the package directions.

To assemble the Cajun Chicken Tortillas, spread a spoonful of 3P Pitta Sauce on each tortilla.

Once the chicken is ready, divide it among the tortillas, placing the strips on top of the 3P Pitta Sauce.

Add slices of red onion and fresh coriander to the chicken.

Serve immediately, either as an appetizer or as a main course!
